I want to ride my bicycle…and make a difference!

If cycling 54 miles through the English countryside takes your fancy, join the Addaction team for a fundraising bike ride between London and Brighton.

This year’s event takes place on Sunday 8 September and we have a limited number of places available if you want to take part. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a keen cyclist or enjoy more of a leisurely bike ride, this event is suitable for everyone and we’d love to have you on our team.

As well as being part of a fantastic day, your fundraising efforts will directly benefit people across our substance misuse, mental health and young persons’ services. We know that offering meaningful activities enhances the services we provide and increases the likelihood of our service users achieving recovery.  The money raised from this event will go towards funding service user activities, with an emphasis on those that promote physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Karen Tyrell, Director of Development, said: “Doing something active to support our service users’ health and wellbeing whilst also improving our own seems fitting to me somehow. It is lovely to be physically able to help for once, rather than sitting at a desk.  The ride should also be great fun and I would urge people to get involved.”
