Addaction has launched a campaign to highlight how the festivities do not always offer happy times for everyone.
The campaign aims to encourage people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health conditions to get the help and support from Addaction that they need this Christmas and New Year.
The month-long campaign has launched today, Wednesday 17 December, with radio advertising on KMFM and advertising in its local newspapers across Kent.
Addaction provides a wide range of services across Kent and offers a wide range of psychological treatments tailored to individual needs for issues including depression, anxiety, worry, stress, OCDs, phobias and loneliness. People can either refer themselves straight to our service by calling 0300 012 0012 or see their GP who can refer them.
Ryan Campbell, Chief Executive of Addaction, said: “As Christmas and New Year can be stressful, worrying or not an enjoyable time for many people, we want to encourage anyone who may need help and support to do contact us this festive season. The added pressure of this time of year can affect people’s mental wellbeing, so we want people to know they are not alone.”
